chris : i spent the first minute of this video trying to figure out if you were bald with a sweatband or just wearing a beanie
Saad Rehman : Summary:

1. Measure your words per minute.
2. Use peripheral vision. Instead of reading from the beginning of the line to the end of line, "Indent" your start and end reading point.
3. Control tracking. Use your finger to control the tracking of your eyes from back back.
4. For 10 minutes, go at a pace so fast that you lose 10% of comprehension (this is "too fast"). Then come back, the normal will feel slow, and a slightly faster will feel normal.
Sam Collins : Can we just take a moment to appreciate this guy’s straightforwardness? There wasn’t a single cut in his explaining the speed reading technique, I love it!
John Wick : “I took a speed-reading course and read War and Peace in twenty minutes. It involves Russia.”
Cody Uptain : 1. Rip out half of the pages
2. Eat the remaining book
3. You've ingested the material at a far faster rate

Want to read with more speed?

In this video Jasper Geluk interviews Michel Wozniak (speed reading world champion speedreading). He will explain some of the most useful speed reading techniques that can help you increase the speed of your reading significantly.

Michel Wozniak is also a trainer in memory techniques, NLP and Mindmapping and now works closely with Tony Buzan to organise both the world memory championship and world speed reading championship.

Jasper Geluk is one of the youngest experts and international trainers of the Society of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). He was trained by the co-founder of NLP, Richard Bandler, and also trained with other world class trainers such as Brian Tracy, Igor Ledochowski and Tony Robbins.

His focus is on the optimization of professional communication. He mostly works with companies as a consultant and trainer in NLP, Social Dynamics and Leadership Communication. Next to group trainings he does private leadership coaching where you learn to use your unconscious resources to accelerate your career.

The best advice is to start practising with these speed reading techniques because you will only get better with these techniques if you work on it. The speed reading techniques may seem simple but if you work on it you can increase your reading speed drastically. You can even read as fast as Michel is reading in his demonstration in this video.
Spencer Kraus : The example he showed for how eye movement is FOLLOWING and not CREATING was such an epiphany for me...
"The eye is not made to create a movement, but to follow a movement."
This is why reading without some sort of directional object (finger, pen) is so difficult! Wow, I'm glad I learned this.
Seamus Dobbs : I have endless respect for people who can teach in a different language!!
Priskit : I listened to this at 2X speed and I was not bored at all. No time for my mind to wander. Thank you for the great tips!
Joshiya Phuyal : Mr. Michel is such a humble intelligent n wise personality.I highly appreciate his techniques n love the sober way of explaining the things. I'm definitely going to implement these techniques!!!Thanks a lot!!!
TheAnshey : I think the interviewer did a great job! He brings up very important situations to help the audience relate to this heavy topic. It was refreshing watching this conversational method of interviewing- it personally kept me interested, and it was really fun to watch!
